For five years the list of AI video analytics companies in India kept growing. In 2026 it just got smaller - not because vendors disappeared, but because the buyer-side standards finally caught up with the marketing. A few signals from this year's enterprise procurement cycles: A Tier-1 OEM auto manufacturer rejected six "AI-powered" video analytics vendors in a single quarter because none could produce a 30-day PPE compliance log, by zone, by shift, on demand. A 200-branch private bank's CISO put a single procurement question to every shortlisted vendor: "show me a live deployment where one operator monitors 400+ cameras."
